I found this site through searching on google years ago, then went to Stafford where they had a stand so I bought a jacket while I was there. support the cause as you would say. |

Welcome to the forum woogie
I'm a big DS fan... But you have put me to shame - I have a DS tshirt but I don't have a jacket
(Probably because they don't come in proper men's sizes though !!)

Oh um... Grass bag Admin person you... Anyway maybe that's my excuse? I had to get her one to make up for the fact that you don't have one to fit a proper bloke sized bloke like blokey me ...

Hi Peeps, i am new and wanted to drop in a say hi found the forum via google, i was looking for info on the cagiva mito as i have saved one from certain death and have been restoring her over the winter. i am a big elsie fan right from the off starting on a rd125lc many years ago and owned 250's 350's and valves i also own a diesel...a Honda SP-1, but i have never had anything to do with cagiva's....always thought the mito was a looker though. mine is a 92 Mk 2 Eddie Lawson Rep which hasn't run in many years...i want it up and running and looking beautifull in time for summer |

Nice one Exocet, welcome on board. Much prefer the earlier Mito's to the 916-styled one, get some pics of yours up. |

Welcome Exocet, great name... Sounds like some of my highly strung two strokes... A one way ticket that goes bang
Out of the early and later Mito's I prefer the wheels and round twin headlights of the early 1990's one but I must admit to liking the more modern exposed frame of the later one.
As I've got a soft spot for screaming tiddler 125's.. A nice early Mito would definitely find a place in my lottery garage. _________________ We are where we are... |

thx , strokerboy and shaggy will get some pics up of my hound! its just a bare frame now but i am nearly at the point of starting to put it back together. looking at your avatar shaggy reminded me of a few weeks fun i had back in 87 when i had a AR125A1....it and me went through a hedge backwards at 150mph I made it out of he hedge in one piece the AR didn't! it was replaced by a brand new RD125LC mk 2.
anyways thx for the welcome i hope i can contribute to the forum.....i was a bit worried about joining a forum that looked after 125's as I thought it would be full of kids......buying used parts for the Mito has been hard work compared to bigger stuff as the owners/sellers of mito bits i have dealt with have been morons
having read some of the stuff on diff'rent strokers i was put at ease that this wasn't the case here!!
cheers |
