hi all,my 3xv motors been stood a while ,i have split the casings and plan to replace the crank seals the ones in the casings are no problem ,but the one on the crank means splitting it .can anybody recommend somebody to do this ,im in chesterfield and would prefer a local company.i know sep are not far away but not had a good press when it come to 3xv cranks,dont mind if its not too local but dont want to go to lands end or john o goats Very Happy

I'd have thought that while it's stripped that far, and you're splitting the crank, you might as well replace the bearings as well...?

Try contacting Maccas or Wullie on this forum, they've both have 3XV crank experience. Warwick or "Wb" on here is also well up on them. If you send PMs rather than post they might get an eMail to tell them you've contacted them, rather than having to wait for their next visit.
