OK been nagged for not posting anything on the forum Embarassed so I thought I'd get off my arse and put up a post, plus I am kind of hoping someone will make me see sense Exclamation

So I am sitting here thinking I want something a little different to add to the collection, top priorities - character and a bit unusual.

I have a KR-1S (mad as a box of frogs!), RD500 and couple of NS400s which are all the performance I need / want. I also have a Kawasaki H1-D, early RD250 and GT185 which are my homage to the 70's and the biking era I love! Very Happy

I'd like to change the RD250 for a YDS7 or better yet a YR5 at some point but truth is I am sitting very happy with my little stash, but eventually the eye starts to wander and....... well you know how it is, you can never have too much choice Cool

I have waffled in an attempt to put off the inevitable but it's no good I am just going to have to say it..... I am the Flanker and I am thinking of buying a CZ Shocked I have no idea why, in all other respects I seem to be of sound mind but there is something about them that kind of appeals especially the 70's Traily / Off road bikes. I like the motorcrossers too but if it's not road legal I won't use it enough.

So anyone got any experiences with them, parts availability, club support etc? You can always PM me if you are not ready to 'come out' just yet Wink

You'll regret saying that. Wink I posted ages ago that I fancied a Lambretta GP200 and some people still take the piss even now... Clown

Don't know anything about CZ's, my only experience is when I was 15 and me and my mate used to pinch his Dad's vomit-green 175 out of the shed to take for rides round the block. Without helmets on. And he lived next to the Police Station. Rolling Eyes

Think they're still pretty respected by the vintage 'crosser mob. If you want one, go for it ! Thumbs Up

don't I know it, people are already taking the piss and I haven't so much as looked at one yet! Rolling Eyes

I think everyone who has ever been near a motorcycle knew someone who owned one and managed to abuse the poor thing in some way. You're right they really were all a hideous colour, maybe that was to distract people from the dreadful looks Confused My mate had a mustard yellow one in his garage - we used it on the local field, still it did survive the worst we could throw at it. Very Happy

There is a brand new old stock one on e-Bay! Cool be interesting to see what that goes for!
