From the dim and distant past, my 1990 GSX-R 400 RRL SP. Bought from Fast Line in Preston, it replaced the RGV250 that I'd had for a couple of years and never really got on with. Was a great reliable bike, re-sprayed in later colours than it was, and with the gear position speed limiter modified to de-activate it.
Should've kept it...

I've found a few more photos of the old GSX-R, but wished I hadn't after battling with photobucket for the last hour! They seem to have changed the system so that it doesn't use the file names you've given your photos any more, and trying to find out what their system has called the uploaded files isn't obvious either. Maybe I'm too old for computers...

Dont think I've ever seen a 400 gixer in the flesh.. Looks very modern to say how old it is. Wonder where it is now

Nice one, not sure I've seen that before. If I recall correctly, I was consistently quicker up the strip than Alan on his dyno-certified 138bhp 1100N...

they are great bikes - I've had a GK71B, seen here terrorising Cadwell Park
and a GK73 SP
and a few GK76's

They do go nicely. Mrs.S had a GK73 with a Yoshi pipe on it, this is the best pic I can find.
