Bit of an update.
Front & rear ends done.
Loads of other jobs done, but they are the grubby bits nobody will ever see.

Stickers on tail & seats fitted for a bit of inspiration! Tank in primer nearly ready for top coats.

Finally, the tank is finished!
Only a couple of missing parts to hunt down, but they aren't crucial so nowt to stop me getting it finished, apart from finding time....

Had to be done, so many strange parts missing from the first one, which the grey one has got. Being a bit obscure, parts & info are a bit thin on the ground.
In reality I would have been better starting with bike two, iffy colours but better condition/more complete. |

Between the 2 bikes I've got this built at the moment, passed MOT today.
I can now ride it & see what "issues" it has in real life, then finish the red/white/purple bodywork when I have time.

Bought this French mag for the 125 test, as a bonus it's got R1Z & CBR400 tests aswell!
Shame my French is crap...

No updates at all I'm afraid, since passing the MOT it's not moved at all.
Life seems to have got in the way, DIY etc, bugger..
All I can say is it rides pretty well, pulls ok(nice surge @ 7500rpm when the power valve opens) & stops great, even on new pads.
Need to drop forks in the yokes, then get the NOS fairings etc stickered up & fitted.
A small point regarding the MOT, the staff at Streetbike said it was nice to see something different for once! |
