I was offered a great deal the other day. So good I couldnt resist it. £350 for 2 frames, a rebuilt engine with new rebore, crank and bearings, wheels and loads of parts. When I got there I saw one of the frames and my heart sank then I moved a blanket and saw the other..... WOW all powder coated frame brackets and swingarm all built up and thought yes yes yes I got a bargain for once. I will post pics later and you can all say if you think I did well.
I will be looking for some parts though like rear wheel break drum, Forks, Seat cowl, headlight fairing, tank cover and a few smaller rubbers etc. If you can help with any of these please let me know.

Well done Kenny
The wheels are worth that alone sooooooo great deal !
Presume you have an engine in the boxes somewhere and not just some gears, a barrel and clutch?
Please don't be tempted to sell all the bits... I know you could easily more than double your money but it would be fantastic to see another little AR125 saved from the scrap man in the sky
Looks like a Mk2 (b4-b 7/ rusty frame and a Mk1 (B2/3) powder coated frame... ?? If you PM me the numbers I will confirm frame models and if you have engine number I can tell you if it is a close match to the frame(s)
Really pleased you got one... Keep the pics coming and in return I will help find rare bits as and when I can ok

Oh no I plan to build it up into a runner maybe swap the front suspension and the wheels for more modern sizes and sell the AR wheels once done (if I like the finished swap that is), or do both up one as a std AR and the other as a hybrid special.
I have a fully rebuilt engine with it with a newly rebuilt crank and a fresh bore/piston in her. I know the guy who built the engine so I know its been done.
I will be measuring up the engine and building a pipe to suit too
Thankyou for the offer of finding some parts I will need some and I will PM you a list I have already. |

Why don't I get bargains like that
Keep the wheels though, I know the tyre options are limited but they really do make the bike.
I've wanted an AR125 since ooh 1734
But recently I have been casting an eye towards TZR125's
Looking forward to seeing the bike come together |

Hi Kenny, are these some of the parts your looking for?
Don't be put off by the top quality pain't job and general cleanliness
All the parts are useable and other than a very small crack in the tail fairing (easy repair) they should clean up a treat.
Any good for you ??

Oooh Kenny...look what Ive found.. A Mk1 Headlight fairing with new screen... If it was on EBay It would be advertised as like new... Of course I'm honest and its not ( but its not too far off !!)
Oh and found a new Kawasaki badge for the yolk cover, very rare but I have a couple spare
Some better fixings for the screen and it will look well smart on your MK1 AR125 ... _________________ We are where we are... |

See you in September Kenny.
The bits are safe and sound waiting for collection.
Just had look on eBay and some are a complete rip off
Tail fairing second hand just went for over £90! ouch!
No wonder the little ARs are all getting broken up for spares.
Happy to help fella, want to see your motor on the road (with the super Kenny special zorst!! Healthy competition for your mate Mick !! Hey hey)
See you soon!
