Well it's that time of year that all my smokers need M.O.T's and the weather is teasing me into a false sense of security... Been out locally on three of my bikes over the last couple of weeks and it was great!
Crisp dry sunny days and ride outs to favorite biker friendly venues are
almost upon us... I can smell the bacon rolls and cups of tea now just thinking about it!
I'm almost feeling pressure to get out on the bikes like a magnet draws to steel. Gotta go, get out !
Soooooo how's everyone else? Have you been using your stroker through the winter (Brrrrrr I'm a wuss). Have you taken the bike out of it's warm garage yet? Or when does the season start for you?
Go on, make me feel better.
I can't be the only daft bugg'r who's braving the cold

Well I've been out on the Mistress (the only 17yo my wife will let me thrash around on) twice this year and as work owe me three hours TOIL for yesterday I may bunk off at noon and go out again today.
It has been a little parky but I have a two piece armored fabric suit which is good for the cold and rain (KMX only) but does stop me going on track days (which may be a sensible thing).
Must crack on with work, need to be gone by noon |

I've had a few ride outs, photos on here to prove it, and I've been out with Tim as well. He's been getting MoT's done and trying to get his bikes in order for work this year.
As you guys have said, it's been a little chilly at times, but very pleasant ride-able weather. _________________ Light is right. |

I haven't been out on a proper stroker in nearly 3 years! I don't count my yz250 as a stroker cos it just beats me to pieces each time I ride it! My rg500 has been a lot longer in the making than I could have ever guessed, but finally I can see a light! I have only the body work left to get painted and fitted then it's off to the mot station! This message goes out to anyone else who has an ongoing project that they're just so desperate to ride/drive! I know just how you feel! And to anyone who has a road going stroker..... Well I am just so damn jealous of you! _________________ PuRE-STRokER |

Keep riding all yaer ... the MZ needed tyres (fitted 2 weeks back, soft Conti sports) but taken son's LC for a towsing since autumn to keep it rolling, had good dry conditions this winter but a tad cold!
Not of interest here probably ... but I use my '53 BSA M21 over winter months. I see no boundaries regarding type of machine other than ultra modern stuff which I find mundane to the extreme regardless of their power and performance.
Nothing like having to work for it ... what small strokers are all about in my view. _________________ If it don't ring-a-ding-ding it ain't worth a thing |

Went to last round of Mablethorpe Sand Racing today.
It was a lovely and warm ride on the way there and back - but absolutely freezing sat on the foggy sea shore.
Hats off to the dirt bikers thrashing around the wet boggy sandy beach - it looked terrific fun giving the Strokers some welly _________________ We are where we are... |

I know a Plumber who has a Li'l 1970's GT125 two stroke twin in his garage - it's totally standard and immaculate. He's had it for years and is only talking about selling due to retirement. Every nut and bolt looks new and is Suzuki OE.
Not a bike ive ever considered - but -
Any idea what it's worth anyone ? _________________ We are where we are... |

Took all 3 Gags out end of Feb, to get 'em MOT'd. Went out for a longer ride on the TZR back then too. The SDR's been out on a short run since and I got the GSX-R MOT'd yesterday too. (Oh, and our old Mini's been dug out of winter storage and is all legal again now.)
Just the KR and Hornet to go... |

Had a good day today. Took the Green AR to CX Kawasaki to have a look see round the new shop. Then as it was sooooo nice an sunny I couldn't resist taking the KMX200 out for a bit of Green lane'n in the afternoo.
Great fun it was too !
Why don't hills look big in a photo? I'm no trail king but even so I was proper pleased with myself for getting up this slope on the KMX.
Shown it the missus and she just said...
yeah yeah your a bloke and at your age...
Your easily pleased
Still a great day - love my li'l smokers
