Hi there,
As a long time lurker, though I'd post as I've finally found an R1-Z, ,been looking for quite a while
It's an early 3XC-00 model, which has been restored and lightly tuned by stan. It has Swarnbrick end cans, tom mac 100mm tie bars (thanks!), Hyperpro front springs and a few other bits and bobs.
Uploaded with ImageShack.us
Although I believe the engine was rebuilt not long ago (don't have any specs, rebore sizes etc.), it feels like it's holding back a little. It comes on the pipe and I did a plug chop, looked fine. But from 7k up when it should be building fast, it just pulls so so.
Before I start stripping it down, was wondering if there is any other restriction in the pipes themselves (or elsewhere?). CDI is 3XC-00.
Cheers,
