|

Need some advice, just about to rebuild my standard YPVS motor after which I am going to build a hybrid. My question is which rolling chassis would you recommend?
I have no preference just looking for advice....
Thanks in advance |

How radical ?
Are you keeping the YPVS frame - if you are how about RGV/KR1s/ZXR front and rear suspension
If not - how about putting the engine into a light frame such as a Mito?
That could be fun? _________________ We are where we are... |

Glad to help.
Could be a right blast, light and powerful.
Sounds great idea to me!
If I see a frame etc going I will let you know.
Post some pics as you go along yeah - we like pictures on here!

This has been laying stillborn in my shed for a few years now, and the engine has been sold:
But it's still a rolling chassis.

been fitting a ypvs in a Honda nc30, not seen one done before. so far its been fine no probs,
the wireing was a bit of a job using the rd loom and Honda switch gear.
looking for some body work now to paint the red blue and white like the rc30, I have a pic on the hybrid posts. |

Got all sorts since I first posted this, just finishing my RD350R for its MOT then got this lot on the go:
TZR125 4DL - TZR350 conversion
YPVS hybrid, just lining up the front and rear end from an FZR600R
Cagiva Mito, deciding whether to drop a YPVS motor in it.
Got that much on the go, can't decide what to do first.... |

Martin77 (TZR forum) put a 350YPVS motor in a NSR250 frame. It was in Practical Sportsbikes a while back. |
