Hey guys, I have a pretty rundown old bird, and am looking at doing a couple of minor mods. I want to swap out the factory clipons for a handlebar, which has brought me to a bit of an issue:

I need to either shorten or swap out the forks to bring them closer to or to level with the yoke. Are there any model 39mm forks that would drop in to achieve what I'm after, or, are there any front ends that would bolt in fairly easily to the TZR?

Also, has anyone done a swingarm swap on the 2MA model TZR to fit a wider rear tyre, as the stock 3" is quite difficult to find replacements for in Australia. Cheers!!

Would have thought that even with a flat bar conversion, you'd still want to keep the forks stock. How far do they stick up through the top yoke normally ? Or are the forks off something else ? Push 'em through the yokes to the standard length, then see if there's enough space for risers.

Hey mate, turns out I should have 52mm of tube sticking out through the yoke, but even then I'd need pretty massive spacers to fit bars. This is my first bike so still learning. Cheers for the reply!!
