Bit of progress today, fitted the radiator
Not totally convinced that the fairing will fit with the rad mounted on the side, a trial fit of bodywork and exhaust commenced
Its all rather snug but the fairing fits really well
Looks like this was a rather well thought out conversion
A couple more pics
Stripped all the bodywork off again as i now know it fits over everything, gotta fit electrics etc now, so much left to do, dont know what to do next |

Thanx
Am thinking of having it painted black and having speed blocks same colour as the wheels, so be standard paint job using different colours if u understand wot i mean
I have ordered new coil, reg/rectifier, battery and few other bits, they should be here for the weekend so maybe at the weekend if i pull my finger out i could get it fired up
Then i will go back and fit the loom properly and make sure all lights etc work, i may have this finished apart from the paintwork by the end of the year Best i start thinking about my next project |

Oh yeah
Its late!
Definately not those ones as i would be using them for sure!
If you manage to find a couple of sets let me know, im trying to keep an eye open but there are not that many about, i would also like the jdm rear light as mine is an ugly thing that looks like an after thought, i was going to make an led one to fit in the space when its all built up _________________ Gagging for it |

Hi
At times I wish I had bought the half burnt out YSR that was at Stafford a while ago. Would have been a good donar for something silly. My YSR is fairly close to standard (different top yoke and the kit for the 2nd fork spring).
It managed 50mph and a 23.57 second standing quarter on a drag strip
All the best

Sounds cool Keith
I haven't made any progress on the YSR this weekend as i didn't get my parts in time
I have however found myself a JDM rear light unit |
