Just read this weeks MCN & in particular the inside back pages.

I've followed Rossi since his 125cc days & have always believed he is a class racer.

But I get a bit tired of reading motorcycle hacks 'informed' opinion of Vale's chances next season back on a Yam & was just wondering what you lot think.

Is he past his best? Is the Ducati a pig of a bike, only rideable by Stoner? Will Marquez blow him off track, let alone Pedrosa & Lorenzo?

Should he stay in GP's one more season & quit with his rep intact (if it still is?)

What do you reckon people?

Rossi is definitely a class racer in my view. If he retires from GPs, I think he will be remembered fondly as one of the modern era bike racing greats..

Of course I would also like to see him turn 'green' side but then I'm biased (and I don't mean ride an electric bike...) Very Happy

Rossi has no chance what so ever.

The world has moved on while he has been at Ducati.

I would like him to prove me wrong as I cant stand the Pedrosa - Marquese ?? spelling - Honda duo. Casey was the main main and he has gone now.

F1 for casey? Someone sometime has to challenge the Surtees record and Casey could be the guy to do it. Now that would make F1 intersting Smile

I think rossi will come back with a vengeance next year
He has all the doubters to prove wrong after all ,plus he's back with a company that wil listen to him and change his bike to suit him

Casey will open a small chain of needlework craft shops in the Newcastle area

Definately got some wins left in him, but a championship is a bit of a long shot.
Dismiss him at your peril, I still believe his racecraft can keep him at the top a bit longer.

That pass on the final corner of the race over lorenzo a few years ago shows his potential. I don't think any other rider could have done that. He is the latest of the late brakers and i think he will come out fighting next season.

Can't wait to see how he does!

Me neither Dan.

I just think its going to make next years Motogp a bit more interesting, cos lets face it, it can't get any more boring Sleepy

I just wish Simoncelli was still with us Sad Never a dull moment with that lad.

I think Rossi will be up there but agree, a championship win is a long shot when you look at the depth of talent on the grid in 2013 ... having said that MotoGP becoming predicatable like F1 where qualifying shows that difference between teams is significant ... and Yamaha factory have resources similar to Honda which Ducati (regardless of their history) have been unable to match....well at least until AUDI took over!

There life in the old dog yet, don't write him off!

CRT's way outclassed and always will be ... it is two concurrent races to fill grids, factory protos and everything else.

Lets hope he can win a couple & push Lorenzo before leaving on a high, coming 3rd in the standings behind Lorenzo & Marquez
Marquez will then dominate the next few years.

Other predictions?

Bradley to struggle & fizzle out after a season in the sun, bless his ginger cotton socks
Cal - a couple more podiums before losing heart & moving to WSB
Guy - to sign for another season on bbc as the new Fed Dibnah! Joker
