Hi everyone, new to the site but expect me to be here a fair bit from now on.

I've been chasing this bike for about the last year to eighteen months now and the owner has finally agreed to sell it to me.

I had one of these when I was nineteen so it's been a while but I expect it'll be worth the wait.

This is a picture taken when the current owner picked it up but it has since had the front end stripped down and rebuilt and had a new chain and sprockets. I don't pick it up until February but I'm already counting the days. Wink

The first thing I'm going to do is take the engine out and pop it down to my local 2 stroke expert for him to take the engine apart and give it a refresh. That'll be a good opportunity to get the cases and varios other bits vapour blasted.

I want to keep it looks as standard as possible but I will make a few updates on it just for the sake of keeping it running better for longer.

i have the blue/white M version but i think the black one looks better

I always liked the M's in black, quite a bit rarer than the white/blues.

Looks like a UK spec bike to me as the JDM bikes had drilled front discs.

The guy I'm buying it is recovering from a bike accident and wants to tidy it up before I pick it up. Plus it's christmas and that'll take us to January which means we're all super skint.

Picking it up on the 24th.

If you read Bike Magazine then there's a nice little write up about the bike and me on page 32.
