Iv not acrually fitted it yet but offering it up it looks like it will go so brackets will be sorted shortly, im doing all the little bits at the moment, working from the back to the front, iv put the indicators and tail light inside the seat unit and re wired it all with deutsch plugs next is a number plate bracket and stop light switch bracket.
then iv a small leak to sort on the gear selector shaft and then its back to the front! Ill get some updated pics up soon and let you know how it all goes
and that rad gives me an idea to start a thread on worst condition items we have got! Or better yet that we have restored, bet theres evidence of some great blow ups or previous owners attempts at tuning lol
what do you think? _________________ Gagging for it |

Hi Paul,
How's that rad going ?
Just got through the post a TZR wiring loom and a set of TDR clocks I'm Hoping to squeeze behind the screen.
Tanks of to Art Attack in Plymouth to get sprayed up, hoping to get a original rear tail and Lower fairing sourced from Japan next couple of days.
Anyone used Buyee ? to get stuff from the Yahoo website in Japan ?
Still toying with the idea of a twin headlight fairing (which would have to come from USA).
It's being painted up as a Suzuki Pepsi Rep but the normal reps are single square head lights so it may stay normal.
Not that happy with the repo plastics that came with her, they would be fine after Art Attack would have finished them but feel better with originals.
Soon as the tanks back I'm looking to get it MOT'd and road registered as the YSR 50 then do the swap and re-reg as the 125.
Here's a couple with twin headlights.

Just come back from holiday so not alot of progress so far,
Im working at finishing from the rear to the front, all the tail lights have been rewired with duetz plugs and fitted flush, the rear brake light switch, wiring and bracket has been made and fitted, next is the gearselector shaft oil seal then ill be halfway there!
The rad will be refitted when the bike comes out of the basement and into the workshop where ill also get some more pics up.
Its just all the little jobs like making brackets and sorting the wiring loom left to do now, they just take time! _________________ Gagging for it |

Great news awaiting pics.
What did you do about hoses to and from the rad ?
and did you have expansion tank on rad or another place ?
Gag got took out for the Plymouth megaride Sunday.
Typical rain in the morning for part of he ride then cleared up later when on Plymouth Hoe Promenade.
Only gag there and got lots of attention.
sorry still not worked out the pic posting here yet. |

I use photobucket to post my pics here, just save them to photobucket from your computer of even straight from your phone, then when you view the pic in photobucket it gives you a link option, just copy and past that into your post and it should come up, just give it a go if it doesnt work we will try again!
And with the hoses i got a bit lucky, i bought a set of tiny aluminium rads from a scooter when trying different rad arrangements and they came with all the hoses too and it just turns out that if i cut a section of it out it makes a near perfect s bend for the bottom hose! Im well pleased with it as iv seen every other one with a carefully cut and welded metal pipe with bits of hose each end to attach it so its much neater looking
And the expansion tank is still on the to do list and im still not sure what to do! Ill figure something out though im sure!
But mostly im jelous of you being able to ride yours! _________________ Gagging for it |
