Can anyone suggest a suitable replacement for the offending one on my bike as its perished and split?

The one on the bike is bigger than standard.
Bottom rubber is the standard one!

The air box has the Team Calamari (TC) uni vents and a race carb has been fitted..

It's not that much bigger in the slide but it certainly is on the inlet.. Hmmm next on to the TC site for some parts?

Nothing available on the TC site so best take some measurements then...

@rse - No reference numbers on the rubber
Email sent to TC and fingers crossed I can find something...
Really don't want to ditch the airbox for a ram air unless I really have too

Ok - temporary option - can it be repaired?

The rubber looks ok in the pictures but its cracked all round where the clip band holds it and its also come apart on the seam. Luckily I have some rubber glue so that's gonna have to do for now..

Oh... And I need a new filter as the one inside was totally knackered
Shocked

Some pictures of the temporary repair

Now leave the rubber glue to dry.. Takes 24-48 hours to cure so put in near the fan heater to accelerate the cure and on the search for a new one if I can find one.. Rolling Eyes

Bit of a bummer but at least it gave me a chance to clean up some of the wiring and the JDM rear set up.

Waiting to see if TC can help now.

In the meantime don't hold back guys on any help or suggestions for an alternative yamaha rubber inlet? Very Happy

Just had a look on fleabay, as I'm sure you have too, some of the Suzuki motocross bikes look to have stepped carb rubbers, similar to what your looking for (RM/PE/TS etc etc)

Thanks for looking.
Going to have another look for something similar tonight.

Repaired the old one and the rubber glue seems quite strong.
Still want to find another new replacement one though if I can Very Happy

Seen this on eBay.. The rubber on this airbox for a RD125lc looks something like?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330854853632;jsessionid=7FB0A365F2612215DEE4227E9E7AF737?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_sacat%3D0%26_from%3DR40%26_nkw%3D330854853632%26_rdc%3D1

But then when you look at parts suppliers like yambits the intake rubber looks straight and not 'stepped'? Hmmm will the RD125lc rubber fit?
