Have gone and got myself an SDR
Little bit of a project, basically needs fitting back together and cleaning up

I quite like the SDR too, nice ride fletch
Yes agree with vestanpance... What you need to do is buy loads of new bikes sooooo you do not have any more room (then you can let me look after that lovely KR for you ) _________________ We are where we are... |

And if you do one just like that for me ts but replace kr with anything else , ill say its true too!
I am mighty jelous of your collection though fletch and iv always had a soft spot for these its the naked trellis with a stroker lump i thinnk! _________________ Gagging for it |

Reckon that would make a brilliant YSR variant.. But you wouldn't be able to have the lambretta Curley whurley spannie...
In fact why does the SDR ave the extra expansion pipe curled round anyway.. Surely the pipe length and bore profile can be matched with a straight through pipe _________________ We are where we are... |

Why? To expose more pipe to the road-salt spray from the front wheel necessitating a new OEM pipe. They also act as a nice condensation trap so they rust through the bottom when you stick it on the side-stand. And the spanny wall is much thinner than header pipe and harder to weld. Just like my KMX (not that I am bitter (ok, I am bitter)). |
