Genuine as far as I know. Plenty of TZR125-engined YSR's about - the DT/SDR200 motor isn't much larger and the TDR is physically bigger than the YSR. In fact I can't see why he didn't go the whole RZV500 hog...

I've had a little playtime with the SDR, put some fuel in and 5 kicks later it fired up Very Happy Throttle stuck wide open and the kill switch not working it was abit frantic for a few seconds Laughing Sounds and smells like a chainsaw though Laughing
Now the bodykit is off I'm going to get it painted, its fresh paint but i just dont like it, am going for British Racing Green Cool

Have had a quick look and it doesn't appear to be too bad so I'm just going to give it a quick clean up and put it back together, I need to get it MOT'd so that i can register it Confused

Thought i would make a start and clean the chain lube off the wheels of the SDR, degreased it outside then hosed it off but it wasn't lube on the wheels after all, its the paint coming off Confused So the wheels need repainting but thats gonna have to wait, i just gonna get it MOT'd so that i can register it, will give it proper refurb at a later date, maybe Laughing
Trail fitted me freshly painted panels to see what they look like

I think it looks rather good Very Happy especially when the sunshines

I think the metallic paint looks really good Cool
I also fitted my uncut rear mudguard and quickly blew some paint over the marks on the expansion chamber
I think it looks so much better now that its been painted racing green Very Happy

Wow! it looks much better for that paint job, just shows what a fresh coat of paint can do to a 25 year old bike.
Want to get mine painted but can't decide on a colour. Mine is the very dark green that looks almost black, it sparkles in the sun but the colour is not for me.
Well done, just get it ridden now, well when the snow has gone

Thanx guys Very Happy
Had bit more time in the shed today, managed to get all the electrics working and refitted the headlamp and ignition switch, looks like I'm gonna have to find another headlamp as mine is pretty shoddy and the speedo is not the original one so i want a propper one of those too Confused
The tyres are all perished also so need some tyres for the MOT too, so maybe the wheels will get rattle canned when the tyres are changed Wink
At this rate will have it ready for MOT ,apart from tyres, by the end of the long weekend Very Happy
