Hi,
I know Arlurt on here has a mph clock face but don't know where it came from. The SRX is almost identical with the exception of the two small red lights on the sdr for the coolant and oil, SRX dosen't have these.
Another way may be (and shoot me down if i'm wrong )would be to put a tzr125 speedo drive on the front wheel which would make the speedo read in mph. I know the odometer would still clock up km's and the srx would never achieve 160mph!
Any one else have any thoughts as i'd like to mine aswell

yes I was thinking off that..
I know a lot of imports when they came into the uk..especially here in northern Ireland the clock faces were changed to miles per hour..with mph being the main dial and kph being the secondary dial as over here its a legal requirement to have both on the clock..
my other Japanese import..a 98 cb1300 Honda has a mph dial..only calibrated to 125mph..was fitted by a dealer here ..no longer in business and the dials were supplied by a uk company called REDIAL UK.. think they now also out of business |

It is a legal requirement on the mainland as well, but it is not an MOT point.
Did find these people:-

Fitting a reduction gearbox to the speedo drive will make it read in MPH, and the trip as well. These are available on eBay.
My bike has an MPH card fitted to the speedo,I believe it was sourced by the previous owner, "Honkdawillydahonk". He's on here too. _________________ Light is right. |
