A friend bought a ysr200 (DT) engine.
He said it was pretty good, lots of fun, bit hairy though.
He ended up selling it.
If it helps, here a couple of pics of the roller with the mods...

Im just in the finishing stages of mine, get some photos up of the bluepeter version for us, I didnt really do alot of beefing up, they seem to take cr80 motors pretty well and they cant be far off 15bhp? Rear engine mount is prett sturdy and the front iv just ust original supports turned around.
Have you got a mount on your head? Could use that with a brace welded into the frame too. _________________ Gagging for it |

Here was mine as a frame
And an idea of bottom clearance
Had to take a little bit out here, if i did it again though i would put the engineslightly further back! And slant it as far foward as possible for rad clearance on the exhaust.
Ill see if i can find any more photos and if you want anything specific let me know and ill take a pic _________________ Gagging for it |

I finally dragged it out the intention of cracking on with it
Yes its the one that was on ebay some time back with the ducati ish seat unit loosley fitted, friend of mine bought it then gave it to me when he sold his house and bought a boat
Clearly it needs some parts however my mate still has a lot of parts left over from his YSR50 resto so i'll be raiding part bin once ive got the motor in place.
This is the attempt at strengthening the frame i guess, my OCD cant live with that so its gotta go and something neater put in place. Im also missing the frame cradle so if anyone has one spare let me know. |

Hi paul, i havent even looked as far as weather anything lines up or not yet, was hoping someone might wanna come cast an experienced eye over it first Im free most weekends and evening after 7 ish
Plan is to get the motor positioned and any strengthening of the frame done then everything off for powder coating etc while i strip and rebuild the motor. The only hurdle to overcome really is i have no docs or reg plate for it so i need to make sure i can get it road legal before spending any money on this frame. Frame number is barely visible either due to thick paint or powder so need to see if thats salvageable too |
