				|
 |
				| Hi all, I have recently purchased a 1986 import RD80LC. I have now bought a MK1 RD125LC frame as I intend to build a bike from the two. My question is, are the frames identical? They look it when comparing pics and its a bit of a horse has bolted question but any info would be appreciated, thank yo. | |

				| For future info, the rd80 frame has an extra engine mount to the 125 UK frame so it wont fit | |

Can another mount be welded on and the frame painted ?
Doesn't sound like a show stopper to me?

Any pictures of what's needed ?

				| Its not insurmountable but as pointed out elsewhere, its a waste of a 125 frame really so I think I may just clean the 80 up. | |

				| A agree, the 125s are also becoming rare so it could be a waste..
To get a AR125 engine into a AR50 frame is going to need major surgery and although I have an abundance of 125 engines .. I'm really torn over killing the AR50..

Feel a KX80 engine may be on the cards instead..but then again want to keep the AR DNA... Hmmmmm, where's the disk cutter

				| Think I will keep the 125 frame down the shed until I get time to do a build! Might be a while though......... anyway, here is the 80. Might be selling though as got my eye on another RG125F.
