Picture of the new head race bearings, not sure that they are the correct ones from pyramid. the bottom race fitted nice and flush but the top race seem to stand proud. (what do you think ?)
anyway i fitted them anyway and all seems good.

A few pics of the frame, swing arm and a few other bits.
the pics don't really show the shine to much but they shine just nice.

Hi Fazey,
I went with a set of tapered bearings myself and also found that the bottom set were flush and the top slightly raised.
Love the finish you've obtained.
As for the use of the paddock stand supports, am I guessing you're going to leave off the centre stand then?
Keep up the good work. _________________ Kindest regards

Looking great !!
To be honest, I wasn't too sure about the colour, but now its coming together its looking Ace
Nothing wrong with roller head race bearings, they often fit like that if not using original bearing races.
Cool use of added swingarm bungs .. Just be careful of the choice of exhaust to ensure they don't catch
Hope to catch you soon ! _________________ We are where we are... |

To late for the centre stand. Brackets got cut off long time ago.
Glad the taper bearings are ok, got me worried for a while.
Couldn't straighten the top yolk so will be looking on eBay for one.
Got the exhaust, A nikkon, looks fine I think. |

Liking the rear tail tidy idea.
Going for a modern look? Brilliant stuff mate - everyone is doing something slightly different to their ARs on here to suit them which is great _________________ We are where we are... |

I'm really liking it too
The whole thing with 80s two strokes was the character and opportunity to make them personal.. Hmmm the RDLC boys are still doing it..
I have a good friend that calls it 'Rocking your wheels' .. And your certainly doing that and its great _________________ We are where we are... |

Great when it rains heavy, i get loads of time off.
And used most of it polishing stuff up. Its just as i wanted it to be so pretty happy with the results so far.
[img
New footrests that i had to drill and tap a bolt to stop the brake lever coming up to high. happy with the way that works too. not the rear sets that I'm after but a definate improvement for now.

shiney

I'm loving this build, that rolling chassis looks brilliant, it's almost a pity to hide it with plastics, tank & engine
Got a question though Fazey, how on earth do you find the patience to polish things? |
