Yes, I got the WW decals of EBAY (ill lookup the seller for you) and Ill get the paint code when im back home (away on business righ now). I had an original walter wolf blue panel colour scanned at an Auto Paint supply shop and they mixed it for me. Buddy of mine is a pro painter and does all my paint work. |

Here is the paint code information for the Walter Wolf Dark Blue/Purple/Black (what ever colour it is).
This was colour scanned at an auto paint supplier, and is a perfect match in my opinion. I took in a rear seat/side cowl section off a WW bike to use as the scan match, it was scanned from the area that was under a decal and was not faded or scratched.
dont be put off by the Name of the colour it matches to
Dupont Cromax Pro (WBC Water Borne)
Alt : A
833005CP 3
Code IU0550
Car Name: "Interior/Underhood"
Colour: BLUE
Mix %'s are:
WB2010 - 66.49%
WB2030 - 7.39%
WB21 - 17.37%
WB32 - 4.79%
WB02 - 2.21%
WB06 - 1.75% |

Hi There,
talking of paint colours reminds me of my mate Ian Arnold, who'd bought a new ZXR750, back in the mid 90's, that was a Japanese Import and in a rather unusual metallic purple colour. One day he decided he needed some touch up paint, so we popped in to a dealers and Ian tried to describe the colour but didn't appear to be getting anywhere, so I said to the parts man that it was 'Dogs Knob Purple' and he knew instantly the colour he needed!

Fantastic! Much appreciated.
Looking forward to more progress and seeing how this all comes together.
Hopefully, we get an early spring and you'll have it up and running.
Cheers. |

You're making excellent progress with the bike. Nice to see it coming together so well.
When you're done I have more work waiting here for you
It would be great if you could join us for a ride. We always have a great time. We don't go far, but it always takes all day. One word of caution though; don't let gammaguy ride your bike in the mud. _________________ 85 RZ500 1GE

I just noticed that my list of bikes is out of date. I should change that as you now own some of them. I'll leave the ones that you want to get your hands on just so you know where to find them. _________________ 85 RZ500 1GE
