Great looking bike! Congrats on the find. Is it being imported? Curious as after I check a gt380 off the list I'll be hunting for a RGV myself.
Looking forward to more photos and video! |

Very nice, will you keep it that colour?
Honda Hawk? I had the UK version of that, the NTV650 that came with shaft drive. Great bike, great quality and I used it for a few years to commute with. Still came up nice and shiny in the end after our salty winter roads, I used to hose it down fairly often if salt was on the roads though.
The chain version was called the BROS. A name that didn't do it any favours as it was the name of a very cheesy boy band in the 80's |

Ill keep the stock colours, its very rare here to begin with (the RGV) and even rarer in the all black Japanese scheme.
Im getting a white tank and white wheels with it tho, so ill likely get an extra set of bodywork and have a lucky strike version.
Over here in Canada the Hawk GT NT650 is chain Drive (an thankfully not called a BROS ), this one is metallic gray and in beautiful shape:
I pick them up this Sunday _________________ 2014 Honda VFR800

I'd really like a Bros/Hawk. Some of the modded ones look amazing:-
Nice VJ21 btw. |

progress is slow, but at least im getting somewhere.
forks and triple clamps.head stock are off and apart. really bad corrosion on the lower tubes and the triple clamps. the lower tubes are re -finished, triple clamps are in progress they were also very badly corroded.
Just need to polish up the fork Caps and then I can try out the new Bush & seal driver I made, these forks are larger diameter than the RG250 so I had to make a new one.

Moving along! I like the front stand you made, might use that idea for a setup of my own |
