Has anyone got a cure for spot pitting on fork stautioms, other than a total rechrome. And if I wanted to fit gaiters how do you sucure them at the top by the yoke. There are pits spotted around, but cannot justify a total rechrome, at £100 a leg from philpots. Oh! Where can I get the correct gaiters (size)? _________________ Two Smokey and they bandit |

Araldite used to be a popular bodge, fill the pits and sand flat. Got my 400 Triple though a few MOT's. Eventually I bit the bullet and had 'em rechromed. |

Hi Guys n Gals,
I was lucky enough to found a pair of NOS forks, for my AR125 for the princely sum of£120, so I was well happy at that.
I'll guarantee I won't be that lucky for my AR50! _________________ Kindest regards
