I've got plans to finally fit my rebuilt engine.
Before that I'm going to get the enging cradle, seat subframe & few other bits powder coated. Possibly looking at one of those DIY zinc plating kits, do all the fixings while it's all apart.

Do it VP it's bloody good fun, frustrating & sometimes you'll wish you hadn't bothered

Just tidying out a cupboard, found these faded timing tickets from the Performance Bikes GSX-R Frenzy at Santa Pod back in 1999.
OK, so I'm no drag racer, but they show that I beat my mate - twice - on his 1100N, and he'd just had it dynoed at 138bhp.

I have just bought a diy plating kit, looks a bit complicated, I will let you know how I get on. |

Will be interested to see how you get on with that. Looked at them a few times, but never heard of any one that's used one. |

I was there!
I thought I still had my time slips somewhere but can't lay my hand on them at the moment.
It was an awful long way from The North to Santa Pod for two runs down the strip though! _________________ Light is right. |

I considered selling the little TA replica race bike but had second thoughts over Christmas period.
Still not sure what to do with the bike once running - Cadwell trackday maybe, covert to road legal special or sell? |
Good for you - that is a great looking bike. Can you still get daytime-only registration in England? If so, it could be both a road and track day bike! Keep us updated on how it goes.
