Kevin,
The fuel tap (51Y-24500-01) is still available from Yamaha, but isn't cheap (price 10390 Yen in Japan). It was originally an SRX250 part, but was fitted to some other models too (can't remember which ones off the top of my head).
You may like to consider changing to a "normal" on-off-reserve tap (i.e. not vacuum operated), which I covered in my project report (http://diffrentstrokers.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=2308). Unfortunately, the photos have disappeared, thanks to Photobucket . However, I have written some info in the text which may be of use to you if you want to choose the non-vacuum option. You will likely have to make an adaptor for such a tap, but that is easy enough to do using hand tools.
Regards,
James |
