I have looked but cannot find any mention of another bike with the same engine as the SDR
It seems unlikely that Yamaha would design a motor just for this model only there seems to be a third engine mounting at the rear of the cases
Perhaps a 125 or 250 motor used in another Jap only bike, scooter ????
Any ideas or info would be great |

Isn't it the same engine as the DT200 ? See also the WR200 and Blaster quad (air-cooled top-end on the same bottom-end). All evolved from the DT125R. |

Yes, Tim is pretty much correct. See my reply under this topic: http://diffrentstrokers.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=2379
I forgot about the YFS200 Blaster - the engine layout is the same, but it has cylinder reed induction and is air-cooled.
