Pete, you spotted the deliberate mistake. At the moment there is a knackered old 100/90 on the front, size wise it looks OK, no problem with the diameter, plenty of clearance, and it looks wider than you would imagine. However, I may still go for a 110/90, haven't decided between Bridgestone BT45's or Pirelli Sport Demons. |

The BT45 is the more popular choice I think, most 500 Gammas have these, and I've put em on my 250 for those reasons alone.....perhaps Lemming like, I dont know. They look good!! _________________ Breathing new life into an old Gamma!

I've used BT45's on my heavy 4T's quite happily but haven't put them on the RG as I thought the lighter weight wouldn't work the tire enough and that there'd be a stickier tire I'd be happier with for the RG - I'd be very interested in what people think is best?
[My next set of new tyres will be Bt45's for the Honda!] |

BT45's it is then. I last had them on a Honda CB1, they seemed OK on that but then it did weigh 180kg, I always find it amusing when bike mags write about the 'light, flickable 400cc grey imports', most of them about 20kg's heavier than a modern 600. |

Rebuild kits for these are a killer aint they!! Genuine are about £70.00, pattern 'bout £80.00?? But some pattern pistons are at least stainless. I'm doing my brakes next, ordered a rear rebuild kit from Robinsons, and ordered stainless allen screws to bolt the caliper back together again.
Did you get an Airbox Oliversdad? _________________ Breathing new life into an old Gamma!
