mk3 clocks? anything else interesting?? [not sure about the chrome chain guard!]

Can't remember nor find listing but think more expensive than that...I tend to lose interest when they get above 500ish. A great buy at the price you paid!

The picture is still on ebay (I posted the link on another site, thinking someone else had purchased it)...must have been listed late August/early September

Now, a favour please....can you let me know if your fairing bottom (bit that goes under the engine) has the back mounts (from fairing to frame) present....(I'm not sure it does, looks like it might be an aftermarket copy?)

Thanks for looking on ebay was just curious.The fairing is made of the same stuff as the rest of the fairing and does have the brackets.It is not a fibreglass one.Does that mean its standard to the bike?i thought they never had lowers.

Suzuki DID do a fairing bottom and a single seat hump for the WD [mk1] and WE[mk2's] as "accessories" but I don't think they were ever available from Suzuki GB.

Here's a pic from the 1983 brochure [The paddock stand is another "accessory"]

Another Favour...would you take one of the fairing bottom mounts off the frame [I'm talking about the ones on the back edge that wrap round the bottom frame tubes] and take some pictures and measurements for me?
I've not got them and I'm having a problem making something that mounts right!.

Your welcome,i can take it off and give you exact dimensions.I have got all the lights working on it and new fluid in the brakes.I need a set of pipes or an end off a dep as one is missing.

Pete, Having a tidy up in the garage today, came across the bracket you need!
You can borrow it to copy, or I could take a couple of pics with dimensions.

You are a star! That's exactly what I needed.... the only way it could get better would be to have the part# stamped on them and find 2 NOS ones Laughing

Mind you - I've not got the tool room skills to make something like that!

Mk3's seem to have something similar, but "taller" for their belly pans...damned if I can find them on the parts fisches but i'm wondering if modifying a set of those might be easier!

If you dont think your up to it, I could knock up an extra 2 when I make the other one I need. Spent years in engineering, from simple stuff like this to pen pushing!

I did have a jpeg of the original belly pan instructions (now sadly lost!) which showed that both sides were "identical" [well, didn't tell you they were specifically sided] One just gets mounted pointed "up", the other side pointed "down".
