Tony at Stinkwheels had a white TDR50 for sale at Donington last year. My missus thought about it for a bit Rolling Eyes then when she went back to buy it some bloke was wheeling it away. Crying or Very sad The new owner didn't even really want it and offered it to her for a quick profit, but he was a knob so we walked away. I think Tony still has a TDR80 (not for sale).

Where did you find your YSR Gagster ? I must be looking in the wrong places... Shocked

it appeared (briefly!) on ebay - used BIN and got it for less than my mate paid for his tatty Gauloises YSR.

they are better than the Suzuki as they run on 12" rims - the GSXR runs 10" - and the YSR is physically bigger (but not by much!)

the only non-original items I can find are a couple of extra stickers, the tank pad and the tyres, which were changed as the originals cracked on the sidewalls due to old age!

Hi Gagster,

Can you help me out and give me some dimensions of the YSR? Question Question Question Question

I've contacted a shipping agent about importing a bike or two from Japan as the first step is to work out if it'll be cost effective, and for them to give me some idea of costs they need Width, Height, Length and Weight. As you're the only person I 'know' with one I'm afraid you've drawn the short straw!! Wink

Any help (or dimensions) greatly appreciated!

I'll ask StrokerBoy to have a look at the brochures he has too Smile

tale of the tape............

---------- blue corner---------- red corner
---------- (GSXR50) ---------- (YSR80)

height ------ 87cms ---------- 95cms

width ------ 61cms ---------- 62cms

length ------ 154cms ---------- 153cms

weight ------ 63kgs ---------- ??kgs

I would guess the YSR is about the same as, or slightly lighter than, the Gixxer (2-stroke v 4-stroke)
When I was consideing shipping one from the USA, I quoted the weight of the Gixxer as 70kgs.
I do hope you are not using OK!Shon - people have paid for bikes but not received them Crying or Very sad
good luck!
Garry
