Hi Chris, compliments of the season! Smile

Does this mean you've got the bottom end back together?

How was Stan to deal with?

well karl , i hope the christmas went well for ya Razz

stan rang me a few days before christmas to let me know the crank was ready but the wallet wouldnt allow me to give him 450 the week before christmas Rolling Eyes

Il be sending him payment next week but i still have parts to gather up.

He had to use parts off both cranks and replaced every bearing and seal in the process and hes posting back all the spare bits too.
The price included base and head gaskets and little end bearings.

I decided to get pistons myself because i wanted to go for the yz125 wossiner's

hopefully with the nikkons , 00 ecu , wossiner pistons , and maby the porting if i can contact martin it will go that bit bettter.

Are performance reed's available or is sp reed blocks the way to go ?

Hi Chris, hows it going?
Just thought I would give you my ten pennith worth, SP reeds are the same as R reeds, in fact the whole block is the same.

I would be very interested to know what kind of power you are upto with your mods. I am thinking about mods for a second 3xv im building, not sure of the plan yet. Let me know how the beast runs when its up and running would you.

By the way, sorry I took the seat panels off ebay, I got an offer I couldnt turn down.
Ive just listed loads of 3xv parts on Ebay as well with lots more to list.
If I can help with anything, let me know.

Regards
Simon

Yeah..I do! Wink

PM me and I'll go into the gory details... what cylinders are you using?

The R reeds can be improved by lifting the stops to give 12mm of reed lift at the tips, though I suspect this only really makes a differance when you start getting over 60hp.
