Hi all, just joined this forum after spotting it in a search for all things 2T. Looks a very interesting site, nice one!

Sold my Gix 600 track bike in January after finally giving in to the urge to relive my youth and went out and bought an RGV250M pics below). The idea is to run it on the track primarily, with the odd blast on the road when the urge takes over. A few of us over on Trackdayriders are running 2T's so should be fun. Really looking forward to getting reacquainted with all things 2T, having raced in the 80's (X7, LC's, TZ's and RS's).

Hope to see some of you around.

Here's the bike.Sorry about the picture sizes.
Gary

Very nice. Saw that on one of the other forums. Always liked that mid-80's Sheene paintjob. Cool

Great period paintwork, looks as well thought out as a factory job.
Whats with the reclining kickstart? Shocked

Cheers all, I had been thinking about doing this paintjob on my track bike and also buying an RGV then this came up. It was an omen (I told the wife) so bought it Wink

Kickstart return spring is shot. Not got round to replacing it yet so bump starting it for now.

First time out on it at Anglesey at Easter. Can't wait.

cheers

Gary

Nice one Crofty, that'll be interesting Very Happy

And thanks for the welcome.

Bike isn't looking quite the same at the moment though. Just waiting for the race plastics to arrive and wheels are off to have Alpha's put on.

Well after a few minor niggles that turned into a real ball-ache the bike is finally sorted and ready for the first track days of the year.

Anglesey in June and July. Can't wait.

New plastics all on and ready to go
