What went wrong with the stenciling? My bro made his from sticky back vinyl, made sure it was clean, and built the logo up in several light layers to avoid any paint creep along the textured grain of the seat cover |
A mate told me about the vinyl paint/dye but tried a sample himself and it never dried, stayed tacky forever. So that put us off.
Sara (the bike's owner) printed off some logos the right size, pricked pinholes to define the shape, then transferred the dots onto the seat with a fabric marker pen (she uses these a lot on custom clothing and shoes etc). Then she just joined the dots and coloured it in.
Looks OK from a few feet away but the edges bled slightly so it's not great. Would probably leave it but the vinyl is too pale a yellow (it was free !) so will get it redone anyway. |

It has been talked about.
If only I knew someone with a TZM50R to complete the set... |

That looks stunning Tim, and a very nice collection you've got there too, nearly a fulll set, you just need to get Darins YSR off him. |
I'm sure we could come to some arrangement. . . . I'll stick it in the van for Stafford!
Are you coming up to Stafford this year Paul _________________ Bikes: www.diffrentstrokers.com
