i do a lot polishing,bbs split rims,inlets etc so im used to it
way way to cold to get in the shed at the moment Sad

little update

not done anything on the mito since last post,way to cold in my little hut Sad

warmed up now so today finished off polishing the frame
next is swingarm to be polished once i source one,mines got a nice big crack in it Evil or Very Mad




and the engine looking in a bad state!

Polishing looks spot on, I got a swingarm going cheap if you need one. Paint is flaking so could do with a polish Wink

and wherebouts are you as im thinking its gonna be a postage job Laughing


and started stripping the 5 or 6 ish layers of paint off the fork legs Evil or Very Mad

finally got all the paint off the forks but there in a bad state
to bad to polish so looks like powdercoating for them now

on a good note i just bagged a swingarm on the bay for 99p Laughing

Bargin!! sorry i havent been on here for a while, i sold the swingarm and a load of other bits a while ago.

Weathers warming up a little now so are we gunna start seeing some progress on this build now? Very Happy Need some ideas for mine

no worries on the swingarm,ive got one now so all is good Cool

ive got all the paint of the swingarm to find i a nice big gouge out the side of it!
not pleased but i should be able to get it out when prepping for polish


got some bbs wheels to do then the swingarm,top yoke is also done now
ive been picking up little bits like brackets etc that was missing so got nearly everything i need to build back up now

and like you say summers coming and i want it finished Very Happy

swingarm nearly finished all polishing done just got some small parts to paint black
now doing engine casings so i can get it back as a rolling chassis
need new piston and ring 1st think im gonna go for a wossner one bit dearer but heard good things about them
