I need a set of forks and bottom yoke due to accident damage.
There seem to be a lot more 2ma forks around and I wondered if they would fit my bike?
Thanks |

There's someone on the TZR Forum asking the same question. No, wait, that's you...
2MA is single disc innit ? So that's gonna screw up your existing brakes. You'll probably find it easier transplanting a complete 2MA front end anyway rather than mixing and matching parts. Having said that, the front end on mine is made up of parts from 3MA, 3XV, FZR250 and TZR125R. |

Yes, carpet bombing works !
It's only the top tubes that are bent so I can reuse the bottoms to retain the wheel / disc setup.
I'm hoping it's cheaper to source them this way than to have the ones I've got straightened and rechromed. |

Interesting. Sadly, I don't know the answer. They've certainly got different part numbers but that doesn't necessarily mean they won't fit I suppose.

I have the answer now and it is a NO. The upper tube diameters are:
2ma = 37mm
3ma = 41mm
