ermmm what have i done
needed something to use this summer and seeing as the mito wont be ready i seen this and thought it would be fun,and it was cheap too!
and i like the styling
02 reg with 10k on the clock, rides really nice,so much more comfy than the mito
plans are just to tidy it up then maybe give it the mrs when the mito is finished, might keep it for myslef tho

not been on here for a while!
anyway had a good few months on the planet, was commuting on it for a few weeks aswell
excellent bike, much much more comfy than a few bikes ive had, handles really nice aswell
not had to do a thing to it at all
now parked up unless we got a very odd sunny day and it will be out again
may have a bit of a play and get the wheels painted white over winter other than that its spot on |

well the planet now looks a lot different
its now white and red, fitted a later mito evo front mudguard and did a tail tidy aswell
fitted a normal mito exhaust because as much as i love the style of the standard silencer it weighed nearly as much as the bike!!!!
and when youve only got 25-28 bhp every bit of weight counts
mot,d last week but not been used since as the throttle cable snapped half home from the mot
pics up on the weekend |

Thanks
I do think it looks better now,a little bit modern cafe racer
Would like to do a solo seat from a Ducati monster but that's still an idea in the back of my head! |

Bike looks awesome mate! where did you get the tail tidy from?? I was debating putting a mito exhaust on my planet, does it make it sound tinnier though?? cheers, |

Not too keen on the mito rear ends on a planet tbh
Going to be Ducati monster with a solo conversion I think
The tail tidy I did myself, really easy to do and Cost nothing
The exhaust does sound tinier but I think it actually sounds better |

With the mito exhaust how did you get it to fit? all the silencers I can find are 4 bolt fitment whereas the planet is 3? would you sell the bike as it is or split it and sell standard? |

you need to fit a mito expansion chamber aswell as they have four bolt fittings
or you could always redrill the planet to four studs
if i sell it i will let it go as it is but with standard parts included
really dont want to part with it tho |

ohhh right, aww my exhaust is already full power i was hoping i could just slip a new silencer on it, im gonna attempt to do a tail tidy on mine this week, how did you do yours?
your bike is pretty much how i'd planned mine to look, so its a good incentive seeing how nice it can look when i've finished! |
