Hello Charlie,
I have the Red/Black/White RG 250 MK3 ready.
It runs good and i am pleased with the way it turned out.
At the moment i am working on 2 RG 250's.
One is going to be an original first model Walter Wolf.
The other one is build with the left overs from the restorations.
MK3 rolling chassis with MK1 engine and Japanse spec expansionpipes.
Will be used on trackdays
Hope to get the WW ready for the summer 2012.
I am going to use the sleeves on the endcans this winter.
They will go on the WW
Can't get any pics on the site

Hey Charlie That just looks great!! Well done.
A question to you and the Exxperts .Those ss slip on covers i got from You are just wicked. But I have a problem .. they are to short for my Can's,which measure 14' So cheked out cmnsi Fisch and it shows 2 different sizes may be 1 is for Canada /USA..???
So I guess my option is to get the smaller size cans at a reasonable cost as my cans that i have are in good nick

Jim,
There are 2 different size end cans for the MK3.
The rivet ones are longer
The spotweld ones are shorter.
I also bought a set sleeves from Charlie
Will take them out of the box this week and have a look wich size they are.

Hi guys
The Shrouds Fit The Shorter End cans didnt realise mk3's had long cans thought they were only on mk1 & 2's . All the mk3's i got had the shorter cans on but looking at the pic of the later mk3 i used to own in the 90's they look longer , puzzling ? _________________ Riding a two stroke is sometimes like buying a one way ticket!!!!! |

Also an original brochure for the RG 250 MK4 model
There were 3 different colors available for the MK4
WW
Blue/White
Red/Black/White
Nice to find out that the restored bike i have was made in these colors
If i win the auction i can make scans

Hey Wolfy! Who's done the paintwork. There are a couple of things actually done right, which is rarely seen. The upper fairing where the screen fits usually gets painted white, and the RG logo on the tank rarely get 'filled in' to match the blue of the top stripe (sadly, like mine done by Dream Machine) EDIT - It seems the tank decals are still available from Suzuki 68110-40A10-7YB £53 quid. _________________ Breathing new life into an old Gamma!

hi crofty
the paintwork was done by the guy who painted my rothmans vfr his name is mark and his firm is called paint supremacy based at sleaford . he's done a great job on everything i,ve given him all paint as well no decals at all.
A while ago i asked if you had any of those fairing brackets that connect the mid panels to the bellypan and if so could i buy them off you as i am 3 short and don,t want to buy a panel just to get some. Let me know and i can pay you by paypal if you want thanks! _________________ Riding a two stroke is sometimes like buying a one way ticket!!!!! |

Hey! That paint does look awesome, ans as nice as I think mine is....I'm jealous! I remember you asking about those bits, and, thinking I had some, I went off to look. I couldn't find any, and thought I'd told you? Any hoo.....digging around in the garage, I found 2 of the bleeders! I'd even had them re-plated
They, may need redoing if you want them as new as the zinc has dulled down quite a bit.....you can have them for free, PM the address, and I'll post out as soon as I can.
