|
Hi guys,
The bodywork of my TDR is well complete but every single part is cracked. So a friend of mine can make fiberglass copies but he's asking me a minimum quantity. Is anyone interrested (I'll ask him a quote on thursday) ?
Cheers,

Yes please. There are quite a few TDR50/80 panels about on Yahoo Auctions Japan but they're always in bad shape. Almost had the last new NOS ones from Yamaha Japan but someone beat me to them.
Definitely want a LH fairing and a tailpiece, will consider a full set if the quality and price is right. Let me know.
Don't hold your breath waiting for a torrent of replies, there are very few TDR-Jr owners around. Might be worth a post on the Gag Bike Forum though.

I don't expect a lot of answers of course. I just want to know if anybody else is desperatly seeking for a decent bodywork. I'll let you know for the price
The Gag forum seems dead to me but, hey, it doesn't cost me anything to give it a try _________________ NS400R, YSR50, YSR125, Banshee, TDR250, KTM 500MX, Bimota V-Due, TDR80, Harris Rotax 250... |

Ok, where are you from ?
I have now 2 options; I can have a perfect quality with a minimum quantity or someone else can make it with no minimum quantity but I don't know the quality. Answer in a few weeks _________________ NS400R, YSR50, YSR125, Banshee, TDR250, KTM 500MX, Bimota V-Due, TDR80, Harris Rotax 250... |

No problem for shipping inside Europe
I don't have any price yet, I just discussed with 2 guys who are able to do the job. Both are friends of mine. The first one makes a first-class job ( http://www.ldc-productions.com/index.php ), the second one is a specialist who makes small series of parts for gag bikes; the quality is correct and it's really not expensive ( don't look at the prices on his website; this guy owes me some services : http://traxmoto.wordpress.com/ ).
As usually, what's expensive is the mould (and there are 6 of them...), so the more I order, the cheaper it becomes.
As soon as my original bodywork is glued together, I'll show them the parts and ask them a quote. _________________ NS400R, YSR50, YSR125, Banshee, TDR250, KTM 500MX, Bimota V-Due, TDR80, Harris Rotax 250... |

That's local to you isn't it gasto ? Have you seen any of the TDR bodywork yet ? Just wondered what the quality is like, whether they provide every single panel etc.
Still interested in a set for mine. |
