Hello All. Am new to this forum. Wasn't aware of it until someone commented on my listing on ebay. Its great to know there are people who are so much more into "different strokes" . Always loved the way the two strokes kick and the smell of smoke gets you going.
I have an RG250, am told its an MK4. Got it from someone who had it dry stored in his collection, so near mint. I got it serviced and MOT'd, that was over an year ago though, and it has stood since then. It's not yet registered in the UK, so has never been officially on the road. And am finding it difficult to keep it in its condition due to lack of space and don't want this example to be spoilt forever. So its up for sale. check my auction on ebay, running under the same id.
I also have a honda CBR250RR MC22 wich I use and love the revvy engine.
Hmm, was trying to upload pics, realised, i need to post em on photobucket, etc.
So will post soon. I would be interesting if someone could tell me if the bike I have is an MK4 as I haven't seen one like this on the road.
cheers.
Will be back!! |

Yes, that's Japanese market only Mk4 from 1987. The obvious differences when compared to the mk3 are the three spoke wheels, the bigger front discs and the lack of anti-dive units on the forks.
I think there may also be some other differences, which I'm sure some of the more knowledgeable chaps on here will be able to point out.
A few pics of the different RG/RGV's that were available can be found here. |
