There's been a couple of these now, and they get better every time. The senior staff at Suzuki Bikes UK are massive bike fans before they're corporate managers, and they love it when us lot get
excited at the sight of Kevin's Pepsi RGV500 and encourage us to poke at it and ask questions. They were encouraging anyone to take one of their
V-Strom adventure bikes out on a trail around Cadwell, and also go out on the road on one of their road-bike test fleet. Which we did, obviously,
even though fuel injection, quickshifters, riding modes, traction control and digital dashes are all alien concepts to us. Steve Parrish and John
Reynolds were there too, more than happy to chat all weekend about racing or share dubious stories about shenanigans in exotic places. The weather
was epic, there was live music on Saturday night, everyone was super laid-back which made for an utterly marvellous weekend with our mates. Why
didn't we have a stand there ourselves ? Good question. Next time.
