Thanks for your help with the previous acceleration topic folks, I reckon the bike is going about as well as it should be now. A very easy fix as described. I really appreciate the input.

Now... one more thing for now, can anyone point me to an original for the time or even recent stock power/torque curve image for the beast? It would be great to have a benchmark to work towards (and then from) as the project continues!
