Hi all this is my new project it's a suzuki GSXR400RRsp GK73a full SP spec including multi adjustable suspension, close ratio box & single seat unit. Plan is to ride it for the rest of the summer then take it off the road for the winter & strip it down giving it a good clean & overhaul i.e new bearings all round, chain & sprockets, new brakes & tyres etc... Probably will get loads powder coated & a new paint job. Anyway here's some pics.

Very nice.  The missus had a GK73A (single R, not SP) a few years back and it was great. It was in the rare black/gold Hyper-Endurancer colours - we should have kept it really...
I've been after an '89RRSP myself for a while, but I want the white/blue one to match my 750RK. Seen quite a few in your colours, and a few others that have been raced, streetfightered or just plain ruined ! 
Keep us up to date with it, and maybe you can show it off some time - we've talked about doing a 250 2T / 400 4T Sports Production theme at some point so we'll pencil you in for that !

Thanks, I got the bike very cheap & personally think this is the nicest/best shape baby gixxer hence selling the wolf. Would be interested in a show/meet sometime, probably won't happen this year though.  |
