Look what I've got
Many thanks to strokerboy for finding it for me
The homologation special - "K1" model - was built, but in limited numbers. This was the ZXR750R . The race version had the same frame as the J models, but it sported 39mm Keihin Flatslide carburettors, full power engine, close ratio gearbox, alloy tank, fully adjustable suspension front and rear, single seat and was 5kg lighter than the J models.
A very original bike, unmodified, with supporting paperwork. Couldn't be happier with it _________________ www.taffmoto.co.uk for your replacement fairing panels |

.
a JDM K1 model...
there is also a KIS-ARM sticker on the left hand side of swingarm (like appeared on the 250 and 400)
and the chassis numbers start with J not K (JPN) as per export models
stickers...
56050-1555 Kawasaki Back Torque Limiter
56050-1633 KIS-ARM
I believe the wheel part numbers were different to the street model (maybe accounting for small part of 5kg weight reduction)
the M and N 750R shared the same wheel as the regular ZXR
the M has an alloy tank also but the N doesn't ? |

Beautiful bikes - being a Kawasaki fan it's the 750 I would want first (oh and then a RC30... Ok I'm too common and predictable !)
Unbelievable at the minute though - like bus's not seen one for ages and then in a week.. three have changed hands (two of those here Mr Rob and Mr Danny)
Hope to see yours Rob at one of the shows / track days or ride outs
Lovely lovely bikes _________________ We are where we are... |
